Welcome to Allied Electric
Founded in 1969, Allied Electric Inc. is a multifaceted Electrical Contractor located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
In 1992 Allied Electric was purchased by three long time employees who still own and lead the company today.
Allied Electric provides electrical construction services in both the commercial and industrial industries as well as within the health care,
educational, food processing, and senior living markets.
Allied has grown steadily over the years, emerging as a leader in the West Michigan area, but also as a Michigan contractor that works throughout the country.
Our vision is to be the premier provider of electrical solutions, from concept to reality, and our mission is to build relationships that power success...
As a company, through the economic ups and downs, Allied Electric has thrived and we know it is due in large part to the experience and longevity of our personnel.
From our field personnel to the office staff many of our team members have been a part of Allied for 20 years or more. This longevity and loyalty produces a
community of teamwork, a concern for the customer, and a concern for each other. Everything we do is centered on
developing lasting relationships for our customer's benefit, our employees' benefit and our company's reputation. We are committed to providing great service and quality
at a reasonable price.
As a full service electrical contractor, we have a professional, multi-state licensed engineering department of professional engineers, designers,
CAD and BIM professionals. Our large and expanding 24-hour Service team and Technology division can install, service, or repair anything from high voltage
installations to data network solutions.
Allied Electric - Quality, Professionalism, Performance
Allied believes that our employees are our most valuable asset and as a result believes that an effective safety program is more than just a manual and paperwork.
Safety is a culture where everyone in the company actively participates in working safely. Safety is a regular conversation from our executives to our first year
Our commitment to developing a safety centered culture has not only allowed us to secure a safe work atmosphere for our employees, but also has shown to be effective
in producing measurable results. Allied's Safety Committee consists of leaders from each division and meets monthly to review the programs effectiveness by benchmarking several
different statistics. We are proud to say we carry TRIR and DART scores that are lower than the national average and a low EMR!
We are also recognized by ABC as a STEP awarded contractor.
We believe that success without safety cannot truly be counted as success!
ABC is a non-profit construction trade association that fosters the principles of freedom of choice through the merit construction philosophy. That's our mission, and it's one that we work hard to achieve through the projects of the member construction firms across Michigan. Merit contractors and ABC are dedicated to providing Michigan with high-quality, low-cost, safe, on-time construction.
The American Subcontractors Association of Michigan (ASAM) is the local chapter of the 5,500 member American Subcontractors Association (ASA).
When you join ASAM, you automatically become a member of ASA. Your membership allows all employees of your company to participate fully and enjoy the benefits of ASAM and ASA.
We provide educational activities and information that are valuable to you and your company through member meetings, and networking within the construction business.
Our mission is to provide services and benefits to subcontractors, suppliers and service providers that help their businesses become more successful.
BICSI is a professional association supporting the information technology systems (ITS) industry. ITS covers the spectrum of voice, data, electronic safety & security, and audio & video technologies. As Michigan's leading statewide business advocacy organization, the Michigan Chamber of Commerce is on the job every day, standing up for job providers in the legislative, political and legal process. The Michigan Chamber is the unified voice of approximately 6,800 member employers, trade associations and local chambers of commerce of every size and type in all 83 counties of the state.
Since its founding in 1959, the Michigan Chamber has worked with this mission: Promote conditions favorable to job creation and business growth in Michigan.
That's why the Michigan Chamber fights every day to cut wasteful government spending and reform state government. The Chamber stands up for job providers and employees, pushing for a competitive tax structure and opposing efforts to nickel-and-dime taxpayers. And the Michigan Chamber works to cut government red tape that keeps businesses of every size from growing and hiring new workers in Michigan.
No advocacy group is more effective than the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. It is one of only four state chambers of commerce in the nation accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Whatever the issue, the Michigan Chamber gets the job done.
As the source and resource of construction financial management in West Michigan, our Association unites individuals having financial responsibilities in the construction industry. We provide a forum through which the Association's members can meet to network and exchange ideas. We promote and encourage leadership within the construction industry, as well as our Association. We develop and coordinate educational programs dedicated to the purpose of improving the professional standards of the industry and enhancing the value of construction financial managers to their respective companies.
